Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how TaterTapps LLC ("TaterTapps," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") handles refunds for purchases of the Author AI application and related online services (together, the "Service"). By purchasing a subscription you agree to the terms described below.

SECTION 1 – 30-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE

We want you to love Author AI. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase. Refunds are returned to your original payment method.

SECTION 2 – SUBSCRIPTIONS AND AUTO-RENEWAL

Author AI subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (weekly, monthly, or yearly) unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you keep access until then.

The 30-day money-back guarantee described in Section 1 applies to your purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.

SECTION 3 – FREE TRIALS

If your plan includes a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial ends. Once the trial converts to a paid subscription, the terms in Section 1 apply.

SECTION 4 – HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

Web purchases are processed by our payment provider, Paddle.com, which acts as the merchant of record. To request a refund you can either:

  • E-mail us at support@authoraiapp.com with the e-mail address used at checkout and your order or transaction ID, or
  • Contact Paddle directly at paddle.net using your order confirmation.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by those stores' refund policies and must be requested through the applicable store.

SECTION 5 – PROCESSING TIME

We aim to review refund requests within 5 business days. Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.

SECTION 6 – CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the latest version took effect. Changes apply to purchases made after the new version takes effect.
