Delete your Author AI account

Author AI – TaterTapps LLC

This page explains how to permanently delete your Author AI account and the data associated with it. Author AI is made by TaterTapps LLC ("TaterTapps," "we," "our," or "us"). You can delete your account directly in the app, or request deletion by e-mail if you no longer have access to it.

DELETE FROM THE APP

You can delete your account and its data directly from the Author AI app:

  1. Open the Author AI app.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Tap Manage account.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

REQUEST DELETION BY EMAIL

If you can't access the app, you can request deletion by e-mail instead:

  • Send an e-mail to support@tatertapps.com from the e-mail address associated with your account.
  • Use the subject line "Delete my Author AI account".

We will process e-mail deletion requests within 30 days.

WHAT IS DELETED

  • Your account credentials.
  • Your profile, including author name, bio, and photo.
  • Your stories, books, screenplays, and poems, and their covers.
  • Your bookmarks.
  • Your reviews.
  • Your achievements.
  • Analytics identifiers tied to your account.

WHAT IS KEPT

  • Purchase and subscription records we are required to retain for tax and accounting purposes. These are retained by Google Play, Apple, or our payment processors in accordance with their own policies.
  • Aggregated analytics that cannot be used to identify you.

Deleting your Author AI account does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions must be cancelled separately in Google Play or the App Store, or wherever you originally subscribed.
